High School Math Teacher
The Prescott School District is seeking an energetic, innovative, and highly competent individual who can engage students in advance learning in mathematics. Candidate who are able to demonstrate initiative and partner with other math teachers is essential.
 
Qualifications: Preferred candidate will have experience and training in geometry and higher level math courses. Previous experience in teaching higher level math courses a plus. Candidates will also need to be comfortable with statistics. AP Statistics training will be provided during the summer months so availability is strongly encouraged. Candidates with a background in providing responsive interventions are highly recommended. The ability to communicate and collaborate with school staff and parents is necessary.
 
License requirement: Mathematics (1400)

High School Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher.
Qualifications: Preferred candidate will have training and experience working with students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental disabilities.  Candidates need strong knowledge of instructional best practices and experience teaching students with various communication, cognitive, physical and behavioral challenges.  The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with school staff and parents if necessary, and experience with co-teaching is preferred.
 
License requirement:  Special education Cross-Categorical #801 and/or Emotional Behavioral Disability #830 and/or Specific Learning Disability #811, and/or Cognitive Disabilities #810.
