Tues, Jan 7 ~ 6:30-7:15pm - The Resiliency Factor:  the ability to bend without breaking - Prescott HS Performing Arts Center
Donna Mathiowetz is a speaker and author from Hastings.  She has been sharing her story of resiliency with a variety of audiences for over 20 years.
Resiliency is like a muscle and can be strengthened.  She will share practical ways that it can be achieved while she weaves her own story of loss and life throughout her presentation.  Everyone has or will experience situations in their lives that will require resiliency.  Donna uses the analogy of the palm tree. It bends during the storm, then stands again, even stronger than before.  The ability for us to stand strong again can’t be accomplished alone. We need others.  Donna will share ways that will help us not only survive the worst, but even thrive.
Her website is: www.unfinishedbydesign.com  Donna will have copies of her book Unfinished By Design for sale in the lobby after the Community Conversation.  This event is free & open to the public.
