Preparing for Test Day:
These tests are very important tools in preparing a strong future for students. Families play a critical role in preparing for test day. Practice tests and sample questions are available online at the following address:  https://dpi.wi.gov/assessment/forward
Please ensure your student gets adequate sleep the night before testing and has a healthy breakfast. Encourage students to relax and do the best they can, but to also take the test seriously.

How Test Results Are Used:
  • Teachers reflect on instructional practices and target instruction for student needs
  • School Administrators understand student achievement and guide curriculum and professional development options
  • Parents understand what their child is able to do in subject areas
  • Students reflect on their achievement
  • Determine how ready ALL students are for college and career, especially groups that have historically been left behind.
