Kiwanis Student of the Week - January 23, 2012

Kiwanis student of the week 9th grader Charlie Brookshaw, was nominated by Civics teacher, Jeff Ryan. Ryan said, "Charlie's work in Civics has been exemplary all year.

His daily work, exam scores, and genuine interest in learning has helped make him a true asset in my class. He is a very talented young man!" Charlie is on the Honor Roll, in fishing club and enjoys hunting. He plays football, basketball and baseball and plans to attend college. His parents are Kaycee and Tim Brookshaw. Way to go Charlie!!

2011 - 2012 PCR Registration Dates and Info

The Wisconsin Lions Camp has offered quality programs for Wisconsin youth and adults with disabilities since 1956. In order to run the summer camp program, they are in need of summer staff for the positions of male and female counselors, program specialists (swimming, boating, challenge course, crafts, music, nature, outdoor living and outfitting), healthcare staff (RN's LPN's, graduate nurses and nursing assistants) and other support staff. Anyone who is 18 and older and interested in a summer experience can apply. There is also limited space in their counselor-in-training program for youth ages 16 & 17 who are interested in working with children with special needs. This unique two-week camp is only $300 and provides valuable hands-on experience for these participants.
