Entry Fees and Playing Time
Fees paid for at the time of sign-up are primarily used to cover basic costs such as uniforms, equipment, league play, and insurance. In some cases, there is an end of the year tournament that is also covered, based on the sport and league. In order to provide the most positive experience for all kids, PCR is committed to fairness and equality in regards to equal opportunity for playing time. Therefore, individual playing time within the confines of the corresponding league is expected to be relatively equal, with a slight discretion for the coaches.
Additional Tournaments
There may be instances where a team wishes to play in a tournament outside of what is paid for by the initial registration fee. These additional tournaments will not be funded or sponsored by PCR. Therefore, roster setting and playing time will be at 100% discretion of the coach, meaning it may or may not be equal for all who participate. PCR will continue to allow teams to use PCR equipment as well as remain covered under PCR insurance. PCR does encourage coaches to invite all players when considering their roster, and it is expected that coaches fully understand and abide by any outside rules and regulations when submitting their roster for each tournament. However, PCR will not be responsible for governing or enforcing the coaches, teams, or parents when participating in any non-PCR sponsored tournaments.
