Title IX is a federal law that prohibits sexual discrimination in educational institutions that receive federal funding (the majority of schools). Prescott School District is committed to maintaining an education environment that is free from discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment. The District prohibits sexual harassment that occurs within its education programs or activities. When the District has knowledge of such incidents, it will promptly respond in a manner that is not deliberately indifferent.
Pursuant to the requirements of Title IX, the District will take appropriate disciplinary action against any student or staff member determined to be responsible for violating this Policy.
