The School District of Prescott is committed to providing special education and related services to all students, ages 3 - 21, with identified disabilities living within the school district or attending through open enrollment. A student with a disability is defined as one who both has an impairment (according to Wisconsin state criteria) and demonstrates a need for services. Special education services are provided to students with the following disabilities:

The mission of the Prescott Special Education Department is to collaborate with families, students, and staff to provide individualized instruction and foster the development of self-advocacy skills based on each student’s unique needs in an inclusive environment.
