In accordance with Wis. Stats. § 7.53 (3) the Prescott School District  Board of Canvassers will convene on the date(s) and time(s) indicated above to canvass the April 5, 2022 Referendum and Spring Election absentee ballots and conduct the Municipal canvass if required.

Notice of Election of School Board Members

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the School District of Prescott on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for school board members is three years beginning on Monday, April 25, 2022, and ending Monday, April 25, 2025.  Candidates will be elected from the district at large.

Campaign Registration Statement

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a Campaign Registration Statement and Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed with the elections clerk no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the office of the school district at 1220 St. Croix Street, Prescott, Wisconsin 54021 between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30 p.m Monday through Friday or by appointment.  The school district offices are closed beginning December 23, 2021, through January 2, 2022.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained at the school district administrative office.

To vote in Wisconsin you must first register to vote.  You can start the registration process online at My Vote WI: myvote.wi.gov.  You can also register in-person at your local municipal clerk's office, with a special registration deputy, or at the polling place on Election Day.

Some voters must submit proof of residence with their voter registration. This includes you if:

• You are registering for the first time and submitted your form by mail, or
• You are registering to vote less than 20 days before Election Day.
